A rare instance of me posting a shot within 24 hours of taking it. This is some jacaranda blooms with the Bonaventure Hotel in the background.
Maybe two months from now I'll get around to posting more shots taken this morning.

Great shot Doug, I very much like the effect, almost like a blossom canopy. The dof reducing the building is good.

The differential focus works well in this shot and emphasizes the perspective.

The jacaranda's blossom against a modern building, the same solution I took in one of my shots. Eight hours legal time difference between our places (that is one third of total longitude span) and we found the same solution!
